Sirac is the southernmost of the major summits of the massif of the Ecrins.

Majestic recognizable pyramid from afar, viso, nearby in the queyras, is entirely Italian. the ridge is offering an excellent rock, to difficulties in 3 and 4. If the attack of the track is located not far from the refuge, it takes even 1200 m in altitude refuge-Summit. but the entire route takes the first rays of the morning sun. Another advantage, this path is very little traffic. the descent is South side by the way normal, bit difficult, what allows to make the Summit in crossing. multiple other routes are possible on the viso, including races winter and chutes

After a first "climbing" length the rest is cooler. stretched rope passages and some more difficult sections where we have to pitch. A few short rappels and a lot of rope maneuvering.

Depending on your level, it is either a beautiful achievement, or an ideal training ground.
